Agathi keerai Sambar

Agathi keerai sambar is the simple dish and cook in 45 minutes. Agathi keerai, toor dhal, kuzhambu powder, tamarind is the main ingredients of this dish

INGREDIENTS

Agathi keerai (1 bundle)
100 gram toor dhal
3 cup of water or rice water
2 tsp turmeric powder
5-6 small onion(1/2 part size)
1/4 big onion (sliced)
Small pieces of tamarind (soak)
2+3/4 tsp of kuzhambu powder (mixer of 2 tsp of coriander powder & 1 tsp red chilli powder)
2 tsp of salt
1 cup of Coconut (grind)
2 tsp of oil
1/4 tsp of mustard seed
1/4 tsp of urad

Grinding method


Take a jar

Add coconut, few water grind smoothly

Grind well

Take a vessel & pour the rice water and heat it

Add toor dhal

Add turmeric powder

Boil it

Close the vessel and boil in 15 minutes

Toor dhal cook well

Add agathi keerai

Add kuzhambu powder, onion, salt mix well.

Boil in 10 minutes

TIPS [Important not close the vessel]

Keerai cook well

Pour into tamarind mix well

Take a pan add oil and heat it


Add mustard seed & urad and until wait for few minutes

Add sliced onion and until wait for golden brownish color

Add coconut grind

Pour the over temporarily the sambar

Boil in 10 minutes

Now switch off the flame

Serve it
