Bittergourd sweet poriyal is the health good and cook in 45 minutes. Bittergourd, jaggery, bengal gram, kuzhambu powder is the main ingredients of this dish
INGREDIENTS
100 gram small bittergourd
1 jaggery (crush)
2 tsp oil
2+1/4 tsp water
1/4 cup of tamarind juice
1 tsp salt
2 tsp of kuzhambu powder (mixer of 1 tsp red chilli powder and 1 tsp of coriander powder)
2-3 tsp bengal gram(soak)
1/4 onions (chopped)
1/4 tsp mustard seed
1/4 tsp urad
1/4 coconut (grind)
1/4 aniseed(crush)
Soak the bengal gram in 10 minutes
Cut the bittergourd 3-4 inches length
Take a vessel add 2 cup of water and heat it
Add bittergourd boil it
Add 1/4 tsp salt
Close the vessel and boil in 5-8 minutes
Bittergourd boil well
Soak the bengal gram well
Take a vessel add water and heat it
Drain the soak bengal gram and boil it in 5 minutes
Bengal gram boil well
Take a pan add 2 tsp of oil and heat it
Add mustard seed and urad until wait for explosive and golden brownish color.
Add chopped onions and saute
Onions saute well
Add boil bittergourd
Add boil bengal gram, kuzhambu powder, coconut grind, tamarind juice (medium flame)
Add salt mix well(medium flame)
Add 1/4 cup of water in medium flame
Add aniseed mix well(medium flame) and boil it
Take one jaggery
Crush jaggery well
Add jaggery mix well and boil in 10 minutes
Add curry leaves. Switch off the flame
