Crab Pepper Fry




A seafood delicacy from South India (Tamil Nadu), crab pepper fry is flavored with fennel seed and black pepper powder, making it mouthwatering and flavorful.It will take 45-50 minutes to prepare. Crab,ginger garlic paste,black pepper powder,tomato,onion is the main ingredient for this dish.


Ingredients:



3 Crab
1 tsp of Turmeric Powder
2 tsp of Ginger Garlic paste
1 Big Onion(Chopped)
1 Big Tomato(Chopped)
2 Garlic(Chopped)
2 Green Chili(Slices)
2 tsp of Red Chili Powder
1 tsp of Coriander Powder
2 tsp of Pepper powder
1 tsp of Fennel seeds
2 tsp of Salt
3-4 tsp of oil
1 glass of water


  • Clean and Wash the crab.

  • Heat up a pan with oil in it.

  • Keep a medium flame in it.

  • Add 1 tsp of Fennel seed and the color should turn brownish.

  • Add curry leaves.

  • Add chopped onion and until wait for brownish color.

  • Onion saute well.

  • Add 2 green chili and saute well.

  • Add chopped garlic and saute well.

  • In all ingredients saute well.

  • Add tomato and saute well.

  • Tomato saute well.

  • Keep a medium flame in it.

  • Add 2 tsp of ginger garlic paste.

  • Add 2 tsp of salt.

  • Add 1 tsp of turmeric powder.

  • Add 2 tsp of red chili powder and 1 tsp of coriander powder.

  • In all ingredient mix well.

  • Keep a medium flame in it.

  • Add cup of water and mix well.

  • In all ingredients mix well and Keep a medium flame in it.

  • Add crab and mix well.

  • Crab and in all ingredients mix well.

  • Close the pan and keep it in medium flame in it.

  • Allow it to cook for 15 minutes.

  • Crab cooked well.

  • Add 2 tsp of pepper powder and mix equally.

  • keep it in medium flame in it for 5-8 minutes.

  • Crab cooked well.

  • Now switch off the flame.

  • Add coriander leaves and serve it.

  • Enjoy well.
