Lady finger sambar


Lady finger is the simple dish and cook in 45 minutes. Lady finger, toor dhal,tamarind, sambar powder, coconut mincing is the main ingredients of that dish.




INGREDIENTS

200 gram ladyfingers (3-4 inches)
1 big onion (small cubic size)
100 garm Toor dhal
3 cup of water (or) rice water
1/4 tsp turmeric powder
2+1/4 tsp sambar powder
1 +1/4 tsp of salt
5-6 tsp oil
1 cup of coconut(grind)
1/4 tsp urad
1/4 tsp mustard seeds
5-6 tsp of tamarind juice
  • Take 3 cup of rice water and heat it.

  • pour the dhal in water.

  • Add 1/4 tsp turmeric powder and boil it.

  • Toor dhal continously boiling in medium flame.

  • Close the vessel in 15 minutes (medium flame)

  • Take a pan and heat it.

  • Add lady finger and saute.

  • After 3 minutes add 1/4 tsp oil mix well.

  • Add 1/4 tsp salt with saute continously.

  • Lady finger saute well, can you see golden spot.

  • Now switch off the flame.

  • Toor dhal boiling well.

  • Pour into lady finger in sambar

  • Add small cubic size onion

  • Add 2+1/4 tsp sambar powder and 1+1/4 tsp salt boiling in 10 minutes.

  • Add 5-6 tamarind juice boiling in 5 minutes.

  • Take a pan.

  • Add 1/4 tsp urad until wait for brownish color.

  • Add mustard seed until wait for explosive.

  • Add chopped onions and until wait for golden brownish color.

  • Pour into the sambar

  • Add coconut grind and boiling 5 minutes

  • Add curry leaves.

  • Then serve it.
