Lemon Rice




Lemon rice is one of the popular dish in South India. It has a delicate flavor of fresh lemon juice along with the aroma of the tempering spices


Below is the instructions and check out the images for your clarifications.


INGREDIENTS


4 Cups of cooked rice

3 tablespoon of lemon juice

Salt

2 tablespoon of gingelly oil

1/4 of spoon turmeric powder

2 green chilli

11/2 of tablespoon of bengal gram

1 spring of curry leaves

Asafoetida

1 tablespoon of mustard and urad dal



Take a pan and add 2 tablespoon of oil also add mustard and urad dal.



Add 11/2 tablespoon of Bengal gram

Add chopped green chillies


Give some time for changing the color of bengal gram. Also add 2 pinch of asafoetida powder into it.

Add 2 tablespoon of turmeric powder.


Add 2 springs of curry leaves. Now the mixture has ready to mix.


Take 4 cups of cooked rice and add needed amount of salt into it.


Add 2 tablepsoon of gingelly oil .


Add the already prepared lemon mixture into it.


Mix well. Serve lemon rice with pickle, papads or vadams and coconut chutneys or just have some plain lemon rice.
