Rava upma ரவை உப்மா

Rava upma is the simple dish and cook in 30 minutes. Rava, bengal gram, green chilli is the main ingredients of this dish


INGREDIENTS


2 cup of Rava
3 cup of water
4 green chilli
1 big onion(sliced)
3-4 tsp of oil
1+1/4 of salt
1 tsp of mustard seed
Small pieces of ginger (small size)
2 tsp of bengal gram
Curry leaves
  • Take a pan.

  • Add rava for dry saute

  • Add 1 tsp of oil for saute in 10 minutes

  • Until wait for golden brownish color

  • Transfer the plate and keep under the fan

  • Take a pan add oil and heat it

  • Add mustard seed and until wait for explosive

  • Add bengal gram and until wait for golden brownish color

  • Add sliced onion, green chilli, curry leaves for saute

  • Onion and green chilli saute well

  • Add 3 cup of water and heat it

  • Add 1 +1/4tsp of salt


  • Water are boil well

  • Add rava mix equally (low flame)

  • Add oil (low flame)

  • Simmer for 10 minutes in low flame and close the vessel.

  • Rava cook well.

  • Now switch off the flame.

  • Serve it
