Chowchow sambar

Chowchow sambar is a simple dish and cook in 45 minutes. Toor dhal, chowchow, drumstick (optional), sambar powder, tamarind is the main ingredients of this dish.
INGREDIENTS
1 chow chow
3 cup of rice water(or) water
100 gram toor dhal
1 tsp turmeric powder
1 Drumsticks (optional)
2+1/4 tsp sambar powder
1+1/4 tsp salt
1 cup tamarind juice
1 cup of coconut (mincing)
1/4 tsp of urad
1/4 tsp of mustard seed
1/4 big onion (chopped)
1 big onion (small cubic size)
3-4 tsp oil
Curry leaves
Take a pan add rice water and heat it
Add toor dhal
Add turmeric powder
Boil it
Close the Vessel and boiling 15 minutes. (medium flame)
Take a vessel add 1/4 cup of water and heat it.
Soak the tamarind into hot water
Take a chowchow
Peel the chowchow
Cut the small cubic size
After 15 minutes Toor dhal cook well
Wash the vegetables
Pour the veggie into sambar
Add 2+1/4 tsp sambar powder and 1+1/4 salt mix well
Add some water (optional)
Sambar boiling it(medium flame)
Now the veggies cook well
Add tamarind juice
Take a jar
Add coconut mincing
Add some water and grind it
Pour the coconut grind into sambar and boiling in few minutes
Take a pan add oil and heat it
Add 1/4 tsp urad and until wait for brownish color
Add 1/4 tsp mustard seed and until wait for explosive
Add chopped onions and until wait for golden brownish color
Onion saute well
Pour this tempering over the sambar and boiling in few minutes
And switch off the flame
Add curry leaves
Add 1/4 tsp of Asafoetida powder
