Tomato chutney

Tomato chutney is a simple dish and cook in 30 minutes. Tomato, big onion,tamarind, Bengal gram is the main ingredients of this chutney.

INGREDIENTS

3 Tomatoes (chopped)
1 big onion (chopped)
5-6 green chill
Small pieces of tamarind
3 tsp of Bengal gram
1 /4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp urad
3 tsp oil
1/4 tsp mustard seed
Small pieces of Ginger (optional)
Curry leaves
  • Take a pan add oil and heat it

  • Add chopped onions and saute in few minutes.

  • Add chopped tomatoes and saute in few minutes.

  • Add 5-6 green chill, tamarind, 1/4 salt with saute well.

  • Now switch off the flame and transfer the plate under the fan.

  • Take a new pan and heat it.

  • 3 tsp Bengal gram for saute in medium flame.

  • Bengal gram roasted well.

  • Pour into the chutney.

  • Add small pieces of ginger (optional).

  • Grind it.

  • Take a pan add oil and heat it.

  • Add urad and until wait for brownish color.

  • Add mustard seed and until wait for explosive.

  • Add curry leaves.

  • Pour into the tomato chutney.

  • Serve it.
