Tomato Idly sambar தக்காளி இட்லி சாம்பார்
Tomato Idly sambar is the simple dish and cook in 30 minutes. Tomato, aniseed, onion, bengal gram powder is the main ingredients of this dish
INGREDIENTS
3 Tomatoes (chopped)
3 green chilli (sliced)
1 Potato (chopped)
4-5 small onion(sliced)
2 tsp khulambu powder (mixer of 2 tsp of coriander powder, 1 tsp red chilli powder)
1 tsp of salt
Cinnamon, cloves, black stone flower, bay leaf
1/4 tsp of aniseed
3 tsp oil
2 cup of water
1+1/4 tsp of bengal gram powder
Take a pan add oil and heat it
Add aniseed, black stone flower, cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf and saute in few minutes
Can you see the color changes of aniseed
Add chopped onions and saute
Saute well
Add tomato and saute
Add potatoes and green chilli in 5-8 minutes (medium flame)
Saute well
Add water
Add khulambu powder and salt
Boil it
Then close the vessel and boil in 10 minutes
It's remove the raw smell
Boil well and now switch off the flame
Transfer the bowl
Take a bengal gram powder and pour into water
Mix well
Mixer ready
Pour into the tomato Idly sambar
Mix well and curry leaves
Serve it
