Urad dal vada உளுத்தம் பருப்பு வடை

Urad dal vada is the south indian dish. Most of the time it's making in festival time. Urad dal, small onion, green chilli, cumin seed is the main ingredients of this dish


INGREDIENTS


250 gram urad dal (soak in 45 minutes)
150 gram rice flour
10 pieces of Small onion
4 - 5 pieces of green chilli
Small pieces of Ginger
1 tsp of Asafoetida
Oil
2+1/4 tsp of salt
Water
Curry leaves & Corriondar leaves

Grinding method ::

  1. Take the soaked urad dal

  2. Using the grinder

  3. Add urad dal, green chilli, ginger grinder

  4. In all ingredients grind smoothly

  5. Spray small amount of water

  6. Make a thick paste

  7. Transfer the plate



Process:

Add cumin seed

Add 1 tsp of Asafoetida

Add sliced onion

Add curry leaves and salt

Add rice flour

In all ingredients mix equally

Take a pan add oil and heat it

Dip the finger in water

Take a small amount of mavu in the finger

Then make a ball size

Hole it in center

Oil heat well

Drop the vada and until wait for golden brownish color

Flip the vada and until wait for golden brownish color

Vada boil well

Transfer the plate

Serve it
