Vegetable pulao / காய்கறி புலாவ் / Without coconut water / With pressure cooker / Normal rice


Vegetables pulao is making in 30-45 minutes. Vegetables, mint leaves, Corriondar leaves, cloves, cinnamon, fennel seed, ginger, garlic, green chilli is the main ingredients of this dish


INGREDIENTS :

2 cup of rice
4 cup of water
Ghee
Cinnamon, cloves, bay leaf
1 Big onion (sliced )
1 tsp of cashew nut (optional)
1 tsp of cumin seed
1 tomato (sliced)
Veggies (carrot, green peas)
1+1/4 tsp of salt

Paste making ingredients :

1/4 cup of Mint leaves
1/4 cup of Corriondar leaves
3 Cloves, small pieces of cinnamon
1 tsp of Fennel seed
Small pieces of ginger
3 pieces of garlic
2 Green chilli
Requried amount of Water

Rice soaking process:

  • Take a rice and pour the water

  • Soak the rice in 15 - 20 minutes

  • After 15 minutes the rice cook well

  • Wash the rice and keep aside


Paste making process:

  1. Take a jar

  2. Add Corriondar leaves, mint leaves, cinnamon, fennel seed, cloves, ginger, garlic, green chilli, required amount of water




--->Paste get ready and keep aside


Pulao making process:

  • Take a pan add ghee and heat it

  • Add 1 tsp of cumin seed

  • Add cinnamon and cloves

  • Add bay leaf

  • In all ingredients saute in 2-3 minutes

  • Add onion and saute in 2-3 minutes

  • Add cashew nut and tomato

  • Saute in 2-3 minutes

  • Add peas and carrot

  • Saute in 2-3 minutes

  • Now switch off the flame

  • Saute well and keep aside

  • Take a cooker add water and heat it

  • Add paste

  • Add salt and mix equally

  • Boil it

  • Add soaked rice

  • Add vegetables to boil it in 2-3 minutes

  • Add ghee

  • Close the cooker and waiting for 4 whistle.

  • Rice well

  • Rice get ready

  • Serve it
